Why Bigfish.avi?

Founded by Dayu—whose name echoes the spirit of the “big fish” (大鱼) in Chinese. Like the .avi format, we stand for raw, high-fidelity visuals, capturing stories with clarity and depth. 

Dayu is a multidisciplinary creative & strategist seeking to inject an unconventional essence into a modern ethos. From a young age, she always cultivated many creative interests, leading her to pursue a BFA degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute. Striving always to become a more multidisciplined creative, she obtained a certificate in UI/UX design at Columbia University and pursued a Masters of Professional Studies in Branding at the School of Visual Arts. During her Master's program, Dayu applied her multifaceted creative background to building branding strategies and visual brand identities, working in diverse teams to rebrand companies like Adobe, Peloton, Headspace, and Trojan.
